Michael Harris has trained and worked in the building and construction industry and has over forty-five years experience initially training with a large construction company under a indentured traineeship, gaining knowledge in all aspects of the building design and management process.
Gaining membership to the prestigious Chartered Institute of Building (ACIOB) and The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (Assoc RICS).
Affiliated to the Institute of Historic Building Conservation
From this evolved a passion for building design and construction which over the years has produced some very rewarding projects.

During the 1980’s and 1990’s Michael Harris was a partner in a Chartered Architects Practice specialising in domestic bespoke housing design for individual clients, multi-occupancy housing schemes, Renovation Refurbishment and Extension of Listed/Historic Buildings.
The very first dwelling designed and overseen during construction by Michael Harris was in the picturesque village of Wye in the heart of the Kent countryside. From this Michael Harris Associates duly evolved and continues to carry out interesting and rewarding projects throughout the country.
All projects are overseen by Michael Harris supported by experienced Assistants and Associates.
